The Canopy Zip Line Tour is ideal for anyone over the age of 5, less than 300lbs in weight, and in moderate physical condition – don’t let your age or ability be an obstacle. Our groups are small, our guides are experienced, and our trips are always memorable. All individuals and/or groups are briefed by professional instructors before mounting the zip line cables.
Our Canopy Zip Line Tour has a changing area, restrooms, and a snack bar where you can purchase cold drinks such as water, beer and soft drinks, as well as different snacks. There is also a shaded area where you can rest and refresh yourself after your Roatan zip line adventure.
The Canopy Zip Line Tour will be followed by a visit to West Bay Tabyana Beach, a haven known for its white sands and crystal clear waters. At the beach there are many water sports activities that you can enjoy including snorkeling above the coral reefs, parasailing, banana boat rides, and much more.
You can spend as much time as you wish at Tabyana Beach - your private tour guide will be with you until when you are ready to head back to your ship. This excursion costs $65 per person and it includes your sightseeing tour of the island, your canopy zip line adventure, as well as your private air-conditioned vehicle and guide for the entire day.
About the zip line:
Our zip lines comprise of two cables, one is used to attach your harness and pulley for easy gliding from one platform to another, the second one is simply used for attaching emergency clips. There are 13 cables, not including the emergency cables. The maximum length of these cables is 1300ft with the highest point being over 100ft. 16 platforms await you at different levels of the tour. The tour is 3 kilometers long and takes between 55 and 65 minutes. There are numerous tricks that tourists can try with the help of the instructors such as the Superman, the Upside Down, and the Monkey.
Note: If you are traveling with family members in your group that would just like to tag along for the tour but not do the zip line adventure part of the excursion their cost will be only $25 per person.
